Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
How much is postage and handling?
LOCAL PICKUP (Free)
- Local Pickup in Mount Maunganui is available expressly by appointment only.
- Contact us first before placing your order for instructions for local pickup.
- Customers out of the area who process their order using local pickup option may have their order put on hold or cancelled until shipping payment is arranged.
DELIVERY
- FREE DELIVERY on all orders over $200
- $10 Flat Fee for all North Island orders under $200
- $15 Flat Fee for all South Island orders under $200
- International - Not Available
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days, then courier is usually overnight for North Island deliveries and 2-3 working days for South Island deliveries.
For rural addresses please allow an extra 1-2 working days.
We are only a small team and although we process orders as soon as we can, occasionally they can take a little longer than these time frames. If you are needing an order before a specific date, please get in touch with us before you place the order and we'll ensure it is fast tracked for you!
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 4 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at kendra@homestory.co.nz with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

We aim to dispatch orders of in stock items as soon as we can - most of the time that is the same or next working day but occasionally it can take 2-3 days as we are only a small team and some weeks are busier than others (especially during peak sales periods).
